Our Response to Covid-19


Our number one priority is the safety of our stylist and guests. We will be following guidelines from the state and CDC for all future appointments until further notice. We are only allowed to operate at 50% capacity, so please be patient when booking your appointments. We have been working hard to make sure that your experience at Hair Attractions is a safe one. Below you can find a list of protocols we have put into place, some are mandated and some are voluntary, but please remember everything we do is with the goal of keeping everyone safe. You can also review the state's guidelines by following this link, or by visiting the government website. 

The first major change that you need to be aware of is that there will be no waiting area. All clients must remain in your vehicle until your stylist comes out to get you. This is to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing between each client. When you arrive you may send a text or call the salon. If no one picks up, please leave a message stating that you have arrived. We need to thoroughly clean in between clients, so please be patient and allow extra time for your appointment as we adjust to these changes. When your stylist brings you into the salon you will be required to use hand sanitizer upon entering. Please only bring in essentials, for you will need to hold onto all of your belongings. There will be no coffee, water, or tea served at your appointment. Magazines have also been removed from the salon. No one will be allowed to accompany you to your appointment, including children, unless they are getting a service done. Please plan accordingly.

EVERY CLIENT THAT ENTERS THE SALON MUST BE WEARING A MASK. Please bring your own disposable mask. 

Your stylist will be wearing a mask and a face shield. We will be sure to use a clean cape for each customer as well. We will maintain 6 feet distancing at all times, except while we are performing your service. Please be aware and do your part in keeping social distance. We have made some changes in the salon to make sure each chair is 6 feet apart. We will be using partitions where needed. Conversation is supposed to be kept at a minimum. Prior to your appointment, your stylist will contact you to make sure that you have been well and have not experienced any symptoms of covid-19 including a fever over 100.4 F in past 48 hours. You will need to reschedule your appointment if you have. Please answer honestly, as we have young children, as well as elderly at home. Consultations will also be done prior to your appointment, so please be sure to let you stylist know if you are wanting a color or style change ahead of time. The state of Connecticut has changed the "No Blow Dry" rule, which now allows blow drying as necessary. Lastly, as a result of this unprecedented time, we are going to be implementing a price increase to our services. We have gone years without increasing our service costs, all while being hit with product cost increases. However, with all of the added supplies, equipment, etc. needed, we can no longer provide services at the same cost. We hope that you will all understand.
